Blair Castle is the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The castle is located in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Blair Castle was one of the first private homes to open to the public in Scotland. The castle also provides the garrison for the Atholl Highlanders, the private army of the Duke of Atholl, noted as the only legal private army in Europe.
